Thought this was funny...
Today we were having breakfast and Carson asked where daddy was. I told him he was at work and Carson asked why? I said "Daddy works hard so we can stay home and play together." He said "Yeah, and he poops in the toilet too!" So apparently all you have to do to impress our little one is poop in the pot:)

Some funny "Carsonisms"
He was shoveling series (cereal) in his mouth at an extremely fast pace, I said "Wow, slow down cowboy!" To which he responded - "I not a cowboy I a cowMAN!"
We are working on categorizing who are boys and who are girls. When I said "Mommy's a girl" he said "Mommy not a girl, mommy Janette."
Carson has been insisting lately that inanimate objects have been hitting him . For example he runs into the door and the door hit him or he hits himself in the head with his spoon and the spoon hit him. He talks very sternly to the object and says "Don't hit Carson spoon, go to time out!"

Brad Injured at Work!
What does Brad do for work you may ask? Something dangerous maybe? Not so much, he has a desk job - which is why it is so ironic that he actually got injured by a desk:) He was helping a co-worker move a desk and somehow the desk broke and sliced his hand and wrist. He is still alive with no permanent damage, just a really cool scar! I have posted pictures below - I don't think they are too bad but viewer discretion is advised...

California Trip
We took a trip a couple weeks ago to Newport California to see Brad's brother Clarke and his family. Reid, Sue, Megan, Addison, Carson & I drove down while Brad flew in after work on Friday. There was no way to we were going to be able to do it is one day with the kiddos so we stayed the the night in Vegas. Megan was doing some laundry and Carson found entertainment in the Hotel Dryer!
We hung out at the resort for the first couple of days. Unfortunately it was not quite warm enough to get in the pool :(
We went to Huntington Beach and walked down the pier. The only down side was that we didn't think about a stroller and Carson wouldn't walk so someone was always carrying him!
I find it so ironic that the thing Carson liked the most was the FREE beach. He literally RAN for over an hour straight. I think if we did it all over again we would ditch the theme parks and just chill at the beach.
My sister-in-law Megan got all the girls tickets to go to the Ellen show. They wouldn't allow cameras in the studio so this sign in the parking garage was the only thing we could find to take a picture of! It was really fun - Megan, Cassie (my other sis in law) and I got to sit on the front row. Sue sacrificed and sat alone on the second row (only 3 seats together) so we could be up close and personal with the guest Mario Lopez (aka AC SLATER!!!). From what I hear we did make it on TV a few times but I forgot to DVR it so I didn't get to see it:(

Its a ...
Well, last week we found out we are having a little baby BOY this July! We are really excited for Carson to have a little bro that he can play with/beat up. Carson is kind of getting the idea - we keep telling him his brother is in mommy's tummy but he also thinks he has one in daddy's too. I am almost back to normal (as normal as one can be pregnant.) I am eating - everything in sight! I gotta make up for lost time right? Thanks again to everyone who helped get us through the crappy time!

Yes, we are still alive!!
I know that it has been a couple of months but are still here and have a good reason for not posting. The good news is that we are expecting baby #2!! The bad news is that I have been too sick to care about blogging if you can believe it. I first want to thank the MANY people who have helped our family so much. I have been on IV therapy for about 6 weeks now and literally could not clean, cook, or care for my boys. The ward has brought meals and tended Carson on the days that my family could not be here. I am so grateful - especially for the help with Carson. It is so hard not to be able to make him lunch let alone play with him and go places with him. He is always so excited when the different sisters come to pick him up or my mom or sister come down. So Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you to everyone! And a shout out to my patient husband who has had to be both mom & dad. Anyway - hopefully I will be back to normal in the next week or two. I am excited to re-join society (I know you have all missed me:) I actually have no new pictures to post because I haven't taken any in over 2 months:(
