April Stuff

April was a great month! Jace is army crawling all over the place! He has little scabs on his wrists from it and rashes on his chubby little legs. Carson is continuing to be a great help with Jace;) He loves to carry him from room to room and steal his binki whenever he gets the chance. Carson loves to sing the ABC song and pretend he is Clifford the Big Red Dog.

Now that the weather has warmed up a bit we have taken up family bike rides. We have discovered that it works better to have Carson ride his bike and give Jace the some alone time in the trailer:)

This is what Jace does while I am blogging:)

How could I get mad at that face?

Happy Boy!

We went up to Idaho for Conference and brought home an addition to the family. Brad has wanted a 4 wheeler since we got married and got a great deal on this one. Carson is scared to death of it - even if Brad just starts it up the garage he runs in the house and tells me to go tell Brad to turn it off:)

My sister Denise took the big step to home ownership and had us all over to celebrate. We had lunch and then headed off to the pool. Good times:)

March Pics

Jace turned 8 months in March. He is now army crawling EVERYWHERE. I actually have to vacuum now:) Carson loves to wrestle with him on the love sac and to my amazement Jace actually likes it. Jace is still super cuddly and I love it!

Grammy Bowen came down for a visit and we took the boys to see Gram.

Carson being a little Cowboy. Sometimes I feel guilty because he entertains himself so much that I don't really do much. As you can tell from this picture I am laying in bed at like 7:00 at night:)

This Itty Bitty session was much more successful than the last one! He actually played and promised me that he wouldn't just sit in the corner anymore:)

February Update

We are finally getting around to some of the cosmetic fixes to the house. We had great drywallers that Brad works with come and fix all the major cracks & nail pops. I think it is one of those "its going to look worse before it gets better" type of things but at least we are making progress!

We had cracks in every room of the house which means 6 paint colors to touch up! We have actually finished with 4 of them but we have lost motivation to finish the rest:)

Thanksgiving point is a great place to go in the winter. I love Carson's face in the this pic:)

This was the boys favorite part. It is a giant sand place with water and little toys to play with.

Out to dinner with the Fam for my late B-day

Jace & Great-Grandpa Ulrich

Yes, this is Brad sewing a luv sac! Uncle Dain moved to Idaho and didn't have room for it so he is letting us borrow it for the time being. It tore while being shoved in the back of our car so Brad just whipped out his sewing kit and presto! All fixed!

Carson giving Jace "loves" (whether Jace wants them or not:)

The boys getting their clean on!

Carson loves to wrestle with Jace. I am thinking that maybe Jace doesn't love it quite as much:)

Itty Bitty Basketball!!

We attempted our first organized sporting clinic with Carson in January and let's just say it didn't go quite as we had hoped. (Brad's retirement plan is getting Carson involved in professional sport:)

This is pretty much what he did the whole time, after I could convince him to let go of my leg that is!

He did like getting his certificate and meeting Lenny the Lion

We are going to attempt again in March - hopefully it will go better:)

Farewell Elder Ulrich!!!

My brother Ryan reported to the MTC on January 6th. He will be serving the people of Singapore! We are so proud of him, we will miss him, we know he will be blessed and will bless those around him for accepting the call to serve! Love you Bro!!!

Christmas Nativity 2009

This year for Christmas my mom arranged for us to be in a live nativity! Her Neighbor does this at their farm in their stable. It was a great experience!

Live animals and all:)

Me & Jace enjoying the show.

Carson was a wise man, we loved his hat!
