Fun in the Sun!

We went to 7 peaks last week with the Ulrich family. It was so fun to watch all the little boys play. Carson of course loved all the slides and we did go on some of the big ones with the tube. I was surprised at how well he did considering no nap and lots of sugar!

Carson and Ben actually sat here for about 10 minutes and didn't make a sound. It was a miracle!

Carson would eat the rainbow chips out of the cookie and leave a soggy mess for anyone who wanted a bite.

This is the next morning after running. He has never fallen asleep in this (as you can see it would be very uncomfortable) but he was so tuckered out from the day before he just zonked.

Carson's first real "Owie"

These pictures really don't do it justice. The cut looks like half of a mustache and he has a bump under is eye. He was climbing around our computer chair (while I was looking at blogs) and tried to stand on a file holder on the floor behind me and it gave out on him. I still don't really know what caused the cut but I really hope that it doesn't leave a scar! He didn't even cry that long, my visiting teachers came literally 2 seconds after it happened and he just wanted to play with the other kids.

Babysitting night!

It was our turn last Friday to have all the kids while the parents went out. We had a lot of fun, the kids are getting older and are really playing well with each other. I snapped this shot of them, they were so engrossed in the story they didn't even notice.

Brad's new job!

This is Brad's first week at his new job. He works in Downtown Salt Lake at Wasatch Residential Builders. It is a sister company to Wasatch Properties. He is an Estimator (Basically analyzes costs of all the things that go into constructing new buildings.) We are very happy to have this job even though I got used to having him around and now I feel like a desperate housewife again!

Weekend in Idaho

Reid turned 60 on the 28th and Sue threw him a surprise party on the 5th. He had no idea even though we were all in the back yard getting everything set up! Due to a ton of preparation by Sue the party was a great success!

4th of July!

Last weekend was a lot of fun for us. Brad got a job offer on Thursday morning and he started on Monday so we made the most of the weekend. We drove up to Idaho for all of the 4th festivities.


We went to the River for a BBQ and hung around until the fireworks. Carson actually watched them for the most part.

This is the corner in our entry to which Carson goes to when he has made a bad choice. Can you guess what choice he made that landed him in the corner? He wouldn't let me get his diaper on and after wrestling for what seemed like forever this is the best I could do!
